So today I had my second job, the one I was really nervous about. Well, it went really well. So my job today was to photograph a proposal and oh my goodness it was the cutest thing ever. The lighting and the place were perfect which was great and the pictures came out really well. The main thing I was nervous about was getting the timing right and I did, I got it all thankfully. There are a few things I'm criticizing myself for but they're things that were a bit out of my control so I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. But so far I've sent them two of the pictures I've done already and they love them and they said they'd recommend me

So I've actually got a second job lined up, already! Actually the story how I got the job is pretty crazy. The guy who I like right now had a friend who needed a photographer and recommended me for it. He said that I did really great work. :D Anyways, I met with the guy yesterday (the guy who "hired" me for the job) and let me tell you I was so nervous. Like I mentioned in my previous journal I am extremely shy and introverted around people I don't know. This time I was meeting someone I had never met before and I was going alone so I was basically having an anxiety attack as I was driving to meet him because I was so nervous. But then

So today I had my first real paying photography job. I did holiday portraits for my friend and her family. I learned a lot today. I learned that me being shy is really going to be an obstacle for my job and it's something that I'm going to need to work through and get past because a good part of the job relies on communication and communicating with the clients. I think for it being my first job and first time doing this I did really well. I'm very excited and very thankful that I'm now starting to get jobs and such now, especially for being only 18 and being a college freshman. I can't wait until one day this will be pretty much all I do
